Sam Mathew is the Founder and President of Aker Business Capital. With a career spanning automotive, chemicals, food supply, and IT systems, Sam brings a rare multi-sector leadership perspective to the company's operator-investor model.

Prior to founding Aker, Sam served in leadership roles at Borg Warner and Schaeffler Group, overseeing operations across ASEAN and India — with responsibility spanning P&L ownership, supply chain management, sales operations, and executive oversight of multi-country teams.

Over the past seven years, Sam has launched and scaled multiple ventures across sustainable manufacturing, food supply, and packaging. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University.
